How it works

From a blood draw to a prescription, all in one membership.

1

Connect your chart

Clara auto-syncs records from your past doctors, hospitals, labs, and wearables — 150,000+ sources. Every TSH, ApoB, and fasting glucose you've ever had drawn.

2

Get your panel drawn

Walk into a Labcorp or Quest near you. 74 markers on Standard, 108 on Concierge. No copay, no separate invoice. The panel is part of the plan.

3

Clara reads them and writes the plan

Clara's AI reads the new results alongside your historical panels, your wearable data, your medications, and your symptoms, then drafts the specific action: a statin at a specific dose, a levothyroxine adjustment, a vitamin-D repletion protocol, or a referral. A licensed physician reviews and signs off on every prescription and ad-hoc lab order.

4

Prescriptions and follow-up labs, ordered on the spot

Prescriptions go to your pharmacy the same day, where they may be covered by your insurance. When Clara needs to recheck a flagged marker in 8 weeks, the order goes to Labcorp or Quest on the spot — no separate visit, no new intake, no waiting for a referral.

Try Clara before you pay for a single biomarker test.

A 108-marker panel is noise until someone can act on it.

Function Health hands you a color-coded PDF. InsideTracker hands you a wellness score. Clara reads your panel against a decade of prior labs, your wearable data, every medication you're on, and every prior symptom — then drafts the prescription, orders the follow-up, and books the recheck. One membership, one care team, one accountable plan.

From flagged result to filled prescription

When your ApoB crosses into risk territory, Clara drafts a statin recommendation with the specific dose and a retest window. Once approved inside the practice, the prescription goes to your pharmacy the same day, where it may be covered by your insurance. Function Health tells you to find a doctor. Clara is the doctor.

Follow-up labs, ordered on the spot

When a flag calls for a recheck in 8 weeks, Clara orders the recheck on the spot — no new intake, no separate visit, no referral gymnastics. Function retests twice a year on a fixed calendar. Clara retests when the clinical picture says the recheck is useful, not when the subscription cycle says so.

Pattern recognition across thousands of data points

Cross-correlate 18 months of continuous glucose, your current ApoB, your 3-year weight trend, your prescription adherence, and your last five lipid panels in one pass. A 15-minute visit can eyeball the last two panels at best. Pattern-finding across thousands of data points isn't a time problem; it's a category of work the AI does and a human physician cannot.

The AI reads your panel against a decade of labs, every med you're on, and every wearable trend.

Common questions

Longevity labs, included.

What does Clara cost?
Connecting your records and chatting with Clara is free. Biomarker panels come included in two paid plans: Standard at $50/month includes 74 biomarker tests, wearable integration, and weekly record sync. Concierge at $150/month includes 108 biomarker tests, an expanded hormone and autoimmune panel, and unlimited messages to the medical team. All plans are HSA/FSA eligible. The biomarker panel itself is not billed separately and not billed to your insurance — it's part of the membership. Medications Clara prescribes and ad-hoc lab orders are billed separately by your pharmacy or lab and may be covered by your insurance.
Can I use my insurance, HSA, or FSA?
Clara's membership is cash-pay (not billed through health insurance) but it is HSA/FSA eligible, so you can pay for it with pre-tax dollars. The biomarker panels bundled into Standard and Concierge are part of the membership fee — they're not billed separately and not billed to insurance. Prescriptions Clara writes go to your pharmacy and may be covered by your insurance like any other script. Ad-hoc lab orders (e.g. a one-off recheck of a flagged marker) are processed at Labcorp or Quest and may be covered by your insurance when applicable.
How is this different from Function Health or InsideTracker?
Function Health and InsideTracker are lab-testing products. Clara is a full medical practice. Function Health is a $365/year cash-pay subscription that gives you 160+ markers and a clinician flag, then it's on you to find a doctor willing to write the prescription or order the recheck the flag implies. InsideTracker sells panels à la carte around wellness optimization. Neither is licensed to prescribe. Clara is, in all 50 states — so when your panel flags an ApoB of 112, Clara drafts the statin, the prescription goes to your pharmacy (where it may be covered by your insurance), and Clara orders the 8-week recheck on the spot. The panel isn't a separate product you buy and then try to act on; it's bundled into the $50 Standard or $150 Concierge membership, and the acting-on-it is part of the same plan.
How is this different from my regular doctor's labs?
Your primary care doctor usually orders a basic metabolic panel, a CBC, and a lipid panel at your annual physical. The markers that matter most for longevity — ApoB, Lp(a), hs-CRP, fasting insulin, homocysteine, a full thyroid panel — often don't get ordered unless you ask, and interpretation happens at a 15-minute visit with whatever context your doctor can absorb before walking into the room. Clara orders the full longevity panel on day one, then reads every new result against the full history Clara has auto-synced from your past chart. Can your old doctor read your entire chart, every ApoB you've had drawn, and every wearable-recorded resting heart rate every time you meet with them? Clara can.
Is Clara a real medical practice?
Yes. Clara operates through affiliated professional corporations licensed in all 50 states. A licensed physician reviews and signs off on diagnoses, prescriptions, and any ad-hoc lab orders Clara drafts in response to your panel. Clara's AI does the intake, reasoning, and follow-up; a physician provides oversight.
What if Clara finds something that needs a specialist or imaging?
Clara refers you out when a physical exam, imaging, or in-person procedure is needed. If your panel flags a PSA trajectory that warrants a urology workup, or a DEXA result that needs an in-person bone-density follow-up, Clara will prepare a summary of findings, draft the referral, and help you navigate it. Clara replaces the 15-minute visit, not the specialist.
Can I use Clara for other health issues too?
Yes. The Standard and Concierge plans are full primary care — Clara manages chronic conditions like hypertension, high cholesterol, type 2 diabetes, and hypothyroidism; handles acute care like UTIs and respiratory infections; and integrates with wearables like the Oura Ring and Garmin. One membership covers everything.
What is my data used for? Is it private?
Clara is HIPAA compliant. Your records and biomarker data are used to personalize your care. They are not sold and not used to train public AI models.

Your ApoB, your TSH, your full chart. Read, acted on, followed up.

74 biomarkers on Standard, 108 on Concierge, all included. Clara doesn't stop at the flagged result. It drafts the prescription, orders the recheck, and sees the whole plan through. Free to connect your records and start chatting.
